De Lance, the original band including Jason our singer and Josh
our old drummer was awarded the winner of last night's round of
KSHE 's Battle Of The Bands at Harrah's Voodoo Lounge last
night. This is in addition to the overall win of January's
Battle for Point Fest. It was an awesome show and a much
deserved win. Watch for upcoming rounds and their
performance at this year's Point Fest to come out and provide

Valentine's Day Show! Make that a
Cigarettes & Valentine's Day... With all the love in the
air, we've decided to provide a subtle blend of provocative and
somewhat raunchy romance classics to put a little spice in
your evening. We'll be serenading the deep flames of
romance with heartfelt and touching classics like:

Shove It, Face Down, Give
it Away, Hard to Handle,

01.07.09 - Fer De Lance, Jason's (singer) and Josh's (our old

PointFest on Saturday night at Pops! The competition included
such acts as Defiance Point, Count the Lies, Fivefold, OneDay, &
the Croft Band. A performance at the upcoming PointFest
Concert later this year is the reward. Congrats to the
Lance gang...

New Year's Eve
Party Reminder:
Come celebrate NYE with us at The
Big Easy. Drink and Food Specials will be
available along with Party Favors. The Big Easy is a relatively
new bar and grill with a Cajun/New Orleans stylized theme
and is located at
1212 Chambers Rd. in Ferguson, MO. Have an affinity for
traditional Creole or Zydeco music? We don’t play any, but
bring your own washboard and feel free to play along…
We wanted to extend a heart felt thank you to our friends,
fans and families! Your continued support has helped make
2008 a great 1st year for the band. Here's a few
statistical highlights:
- We've played 26 shows over the past 12 months.
- Entertained over 2,127 attendees.
- Had 5,898 hits and downloads on cigsandval.com
- Given away, 80 boxes of candy hearts, 20 t-shirts, 12
women's tank tops, 14 pairs of women's hot pants, 5 light-up
key chains, 35 CDs, and 1 case of candy cigarettes.
- Parted with our founding drummer and added a new friend
to our line-up.
- Only bothered our mail recipients with 1 email per
month...
